Living a Paleo & Zone lifestyle, diet really, doesn’t mean that you have to give up on your favourite foods! Au-contraire (that means “the opposite” ish)! Living healthy means being aware of what you eat, enjoying your food. Make food your friend, in a good way, not in the over indulgent way. Friends don’t want you to develop Type-2 Diabetes or Heart disease, right? Well, start looking at food as your friend that wants you to enjoy a healthy shiny happy long life, and see food for what it really is: sustenance, energy for a healthy life!

Step 1: Filling your fridge with GOOD FOODS!
I know it’s tough out there when you’re starting out! I KNOW, believe me. So that’s why I wrote this post. I’m gonna help you! Navigating the grocery store isles is like navigating through a mine field, and you can only see some of the mines. That’s why I’ve created a set of rules for grocery shopping:
- before you head for the store, DO YOUR RESEARCH,
- CREATE A MENU
- MAKE A LIST OF ITEMS
- STICK TO THE LIST
- GET TO THE CASH REGISTER, AND STAY AWAY FROM THE CANDY, CIGARETS, AND SODAS
- PAY, AND GO HOME
- CONGRATULATIONS!!! YOU GOT THE FIST STEP DONE!
Oh, but don’t fret, you just mastered the HARDEST PART!
Now comes the easiest part: ENJOYING YOUR FOOD 😉
If you can eliminate the bad foods from your house, the toughest part of the job is done. The next step is staying the course, dedication to your goals of being healthy, and not running tot he corner store for the late night cravings, and all that in a future post.
